Geography Secondary Teacher Part-time

Location: England, Greater London, Battersea

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours

Salary: £150 - £210 per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to secondary school students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience
  • Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Geography or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Geography curriculum
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
