About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Geography to join their thriving Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically, develop analytical skills, and gain a deeper understanding of physical and human geography.
The Humanities faculty is built on a culture of collaboration and support, where subject specialists share strategies and resources to deliver high-quality lessons. The school is committed to ensuring that all students develop a love for learning and achieve academic success in Geography.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking Geography lessons.

Inspire and challenge students of all abilities, helping them develop a strong understanding of geographical concepts, landscapes, and global issues.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback to support development.

Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities.

Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and academic achievement.
Requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
