An 'outstanding' secondary school located in Northampton are looking for a Teacher of English to join their team. Committed to providing a supportive and stimulating environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and foster a love for literature and language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
