Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier by negotiation)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

The Role

As Teacher of Business and Economics, you will deliver high-quality lessons to KS4 and KS5 students, fostering a deep understanding of key concepts in business strategy, market forces, entrepreneurship, economic systems, and financial literacy. You’ll be responsible for planning, assessment, and curriculum development, and will have the opportunity to contribute to extra-curricular activities such as enterprise clubs or economic forums.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred but not essential) with specialism in Business, Economics or a related subject

  • Have experience teaching Business and/or Economics at GCSE and A-Level (or equivalent)

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for real-world learning

  • Be innovative, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development

  • Inspire students of all abilities to achieve their full potential

  • Be a collaborative team player who contributes to a vibrant faculty environment
