Reception Teacher | Longstanton

Are you enthusiastic, creative and have a passion for working with children?

Do you have a positive can-do-attitude?

Teaching Personnel are working with an excellent Primary School in Longstanton who are looking for a qualified and experienced Year 2 Teacher to start after Half-term. The School is ideally looking for an experienced KS1 Specialised Teacher, however they will consider someone who has experience and is willing to take on a new challenge. This position is a full time role.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills: written and verbal
  • High energy levels and an outgoing personality are both ideal traits for this role
  • Good timekeeping and organisational skills – Classroom management
  • Passion for working with children and helping them learn through play
  • Knowledge of child protection procedures
  • An understanding of the Primary/EYFS Curriculum

Your Rewarding role will include:

  • Planning and implementing creative and learning classes in line with the national curriculum.
  • Working as part of a supportive and friendly team, ensuring the safety and well being of children at all times.
  • Following health and safety and safeguarding policies and procedures, carrying out observations.
  • Writing reports and interacting with parents to update them on their child's progress.
