Teacher (Alternative Provision)
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 (Based on teaching experience) Plus valuable Benefits
Location: Thrapston
Vacancy Type: Permanent/Full Time
Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with a Secondary school based in Thrapston. This school support approximately 35 pupils aged 11-16 years to ensure that they can provide ample opportunities for children who need a nurturing, encouraging and supportive environment, specifically for those who will reintegrate back into a mainstream setting.
This school is on the lookout for dynamic and creative teachers to join there alternative education community. If you’re passionate and have a love for learning, embracing diversity, and encouraging students to think beyond the traditional.
About you:
- Teachers – to hold, or be willing to work towards, QTS/QTLS
- Tutors – to have a degree or equivalent and be willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
- Proven track record of raising attainment, supporting behavioural challenges and demonstrating high levels of pastoral care.
- Enthusiastic about alternative education methodologies
- A commitment to holistic student development
- Ready to bring fresh ideas and creativity to the classroom and outside it
- Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
