Job description

A SEN school in Salisbury are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The school provides a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for students aged 4-19 with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs. We are committed to delivering high-quality, individualized education that empowers each student to reach their full potential.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of the students.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.

  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support student progress.

  • Maintain accurate records of student achievements and contribute to individual plans.

  • Engage with parents and carers to support learning and well-being.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

  • Experience or a strong interest in working with students with SEND.

  • Excellent communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

  • A flexible, compassionate, and resilient approach to teaching.

  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
