About Us

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and adaptable Primary School Supply Teachers to join our team, working across various schools in the west of Cornwall. Job Description

As a Primary School Supply Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of primary subjects and year groups.
  • Quickly adapt to different school environments and teaching styles.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create your own when necessary.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity and support for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the primary curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to students to support their learning and development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching at the primary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and year groups.
  • Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
