Full-Time Teacher – Alternative Provision (The Wirral)

An alternative provision in The Wirral is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher to join their committed team. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position for an educator who thrives in a supportive and nurturing environment.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to meet the needs of students.
  • Support learners who have faced challenges in mainstream education, helping them re-engage with their studies.
  • Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Manage challenging behaviour with a compassionate and structured approach.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and assist in developing strategies to promote student success.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
  • Experience in alternative provisions, SEN settings, or working with students with SEMH needs is advantageous.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A creative and flexible teaching style to address the diverse needs of learners.
  • A commitment to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
