Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN school based in Lymington who are currently in need of 2 Support Workers to cover a 7 day working week.

 

The school are in need of support workers who HAVE had experience working with children with additional needs.

 

You would be expected to work over a two week shift pattern rota:

Shift 1

Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Hours 8am to 8pm (5 Days)

Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday – Hours 8am to 8pm (2days)

Shift 2

Week 1 Wednesday, Thursday – Hours 8am to 8pm (2days)

Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Hours 8am to 8pm (5 Days)

 

However, the school can be flexible with this shift pattern if necessary, but they do need the full week to be covered.

 

The school will require the support workers to have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure which covers both the Child and Adult workforce and also checks Child and Adult barred lists for the following reasons:

  • Students over 18 years of age classed as vulnerable adults
  • Staff in the school will be engaged in regulated activity with both the Child and Adult workforce.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
