Full Time and Part Time positions available!

 Join our dedicated team for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our mission is to empower every student to overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a safe and understanding environment.

The Role:

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day lives of our students, offering emotional, social, and academic support. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure our students feel valued, understood, and equipped to face their challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• To plan, deliver and evidence parts of individual learning programmes 1:1 or in small groups, including undertaking appropriate risk assessment
• To maintain an awareness of safeguarding and making this a priority, reporting all concerns promptly
• To implement strategies to support pupils with Special Educational Needs to access learning throughout the school day, building rapport and being a trusted adult
• To provide specific and targeted support, depending on individual pupil needs, ensuring safety whilst supporting access to learning activities.
• To encourage the development of strategies for young people to manage behaviour, anger and frustration.

The successful educator will have the following:
• Experience of working with children and young people
• An interest in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning
• An ability to effectively and positively manage challenging behaviour
• Professional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Good general standard of education (GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in English and Maths) and IT proficiency

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
