Job Advert: Supply Teacher – Primary Schools in Wimborne
Are you a qualified teacher seeking flexible teaching opportunities in the Wimborne area? We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Supply Teacher to work across primary schools in Wimborne. This is an excellent opportunity for both day-to-day bookings and long-term placements, providing you with the flexibility to manage your own schedule while making a positive impact on young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of primary subjects to students aged 4-11.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and well-being.
- Adapt lessons and teaching methods to suit the individual learning needs of students.
- Support and manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe and focused learning atmosphere.
- Work closely with school staff to ensure continuity and effective student support during your placement.
- Follow the school's policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching primary-aged children is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
- Flexibility to work on both day-to-day and long-term assignments.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one (we can assist with this process).
- A positive, adaptable approach to teaching and a commitment to helping children achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
