Job description

Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for flexibility and a great work-life balance? We are seeking dedicated Supply Teachers to work in Mainstream Primary Schools across the Weymouth area. Whether you are looking for full-time or part-time positions, or prefer regular day-to-day bookings to cover sickness, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality teaching to pupils in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and school guidelines.
  • Support the learning and development of children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
  • Ensure continuity in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining classroom routines and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous teaching experience in a Primary school setting is preferred.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability in taking on supply work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
