Salisbury Supply Teachers Needed!

Teaching Personnel are the largest supply agency in the UK, and we are currently recruiting for a bank of Secondary Supply Teachers to work across schools within Salisbury, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.
Working as a Supply Teacher is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to reduce their working hours and also for an ECT looking to broaden their experience and identify the ideal type of school for them to secure permanent work in. Working as a supply teacher across schools to showcase skills can often lead to our educators being taken onto a permanent school contract if desired.
As a supply teacher, you would deliver the work left by the class teacher and leave brief feedback at the end of the day. In order to work as a supply teacher, you must hold QTS, have experience within a primary or secondary school, and be able to provide good references.
Requirements of being a Supply Teacher:
- Educators must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Overseas QTS is also accepted however you must have an overseas criminal clearance if you’ve lived/worked abroad within the last 5 years or more
- You will have a good understanding of the current Secondary curriculum in UK schools
- Promoting and reinforcing student’s self-esteem and encourage students to maximise their achievement and development
- To provide support for children with challenging behaviour
- Child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
