Supply Teacher

Support secondary schools in Salford, providing guidance for young people in the absence of teachers.

Responsibilities of a cover supervisor include:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons/work covering a teacher’s absence.
• Facilitate learning across varying levels of ability within specific subjects.
• Support children aged 11-16 with additional learning needs.
• Support students in small groups who require additional guidance to reach their attainment grades.
• Gain invaluable experience towards teaching training applications.

This mixed secondary school is based near the centre of Salford. The schools is easily accessible via the M62, A56, M66 and A58. For candidates that are using public transport there are links from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and Heywood.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
