Flexible Cover Supervisor for Secondary Schools in Stockport and New Mills Area (September 2024)

Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: Secondary Schools across Stockport and New Mills

Start Date: after October half term 2024

Contract Type: Flexible/Part-Time

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Role Overview:

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work across various secondary schools in the Stockport and New Mills area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classrooms during teachers' absences.
  • Ensure a positive and productive learning environment for students.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
  • Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
  • Support students in their learning and address any immediate issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school environment or with young people is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different school settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to supporting students' education and well-being.
  • Relevant qualifications or a degree is advantageous.
