Primary Supply Teachers 

Are you a passionate and flexible educator looking for supply teaching opportunities? Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable supply teachers to join our team in the Plymouth area and its surroundings. Whether you're looking for part-time, flexible work or longer-term placements, we have opportunities available, including the potential for temp-to-perm contracts with local schools.

About Us: Teaching Personnel is a leading educational staffing agency connecting talented teachers with schools in need of support. We work with a range of schools in the Plymouth area, offering both short-term supply positions and longer-term roles that could lead to permanent school contracts for the right candidates.

Position:

  • Job Title: Supply Teacher
  • Location: Plymouth and Surrounding Areas
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience and references

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Clearance: Current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new DBS check
  • Experience: Previous teaching experience is preferred, but newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons based on school needs
  • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
  • Adapt to different school settings and subjects, often on short notice
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and follow school policies
  • Be available for short-term supply roles, or consider longer-term placements with the potential for permanent contracts

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
