Supply Teacher
Teaching Personnel are the UK’s leading supply teaching agency, and we are currently seeking dedicated supply teachers for secondary schools across Newport. As a supply teacher, you will play a vital role in contributing to students’ academic success, whilst also having the benefit to endure flexible work. Additionally, this position can also offer stability and the opportunity to transition to permanent employment if wanted.
Location: Newport
Start: Immediate
Hours: Flexible work
Pay: £157.66 daily.
Ideal Candidate Criteria:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across different age groups and subjects.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Assess pupils’ development and understanding and provide appropriate feedback to regular teachers.
- Collaborate with multiple students and teachers
- Ability to adapt different teaching styles to meet student’s needs.
- Be comfortable covering all core subjects within school up to KS4 (KS5 desirable but is not required)
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS/NQT
- Enhanced DBS (Teaching Personnel can help with this)
- Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) (Teaching Personnel can help with this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
