Job Description:

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking supply teachers to work on a temporary, part-time basis in Leicestershire, East Midlands. As a supply teacher, you will have the flexibility to work around your commitments, with morning, afternoon, and full-day bookings available. The role offers a competitive daily rate of £120 - £180.

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of varying ages and abilities
• Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Provide feedback to regular classroom teachers on student progress
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

Required Qualifications:

• PGCE, Bachelor of Education, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

• Previous experience in a teaching role is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of educational principles and classroom management techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training or certifications in specific subject areas

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
• Travel may be required to different school locations within Leicestershire
