Job Title: Supply Teacher

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
• Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and ensure all learning objectives are met
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Provide feedback to regular teachers and school staff on student progress and behaviour
• Participate in school meetings and professional development sessions as required

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience working as a teacher or supply teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• Effective classroom management skills
• Ability to build rapport with students and establish a positive learning atmosphere

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training in Special Education Needs (SEN) or Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
• Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

• Work in various schools across the Lancashire area
• Full-time hours with potential for additional responsibilities or long-term placements
• Collaborate with different teaching staff and school teams

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
