Teaching Personnel Northants & Counties Branch is expanding our team of Supply Teachers in Hertfordshire to support Secondary Schools across the area! 

  • Job Type: Part or Full Time - Flexible Availability
  • Salary: £100-£150+ per day
  • Location: Hatfield
  • Start Date: Flexible from April 2025

Job Description: As a Supply Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation. As a Supply Teacher, your responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering lesson plans provided by the absent Teacher
  • Leading the classroom with high-quality lessons
  • Assessing and monitoring student behaviour
  • Proactive approach to engaging students to complete their lesson tasks
  • Adapting to different environments and following Safeguarding practices
  • Participating in professional development opportunities when required

Qualifications:

To be successful as a Supply Teacher, you should have:

  • (Desireable) QTS (or at least 1-2 years of supply teaching experience)
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Appropriate teaching certification or licence
  • Experience teaching at the Secondary level
  • Adaptable and friendly demeanour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
