Role- Supply Teacher

Location - Trafford

A well-established secondary school in Trafford are seeking a supply teacher to work full-time hours. This role is a great opportunity for a flexible work schedule while providing general cover for KS3 and KS4. If you have great communication and interpersonal skills, this is a great opportunity to contribute to making a significant impact on students’ academic learning and progress. The school is located in Trafford and is close to various bus and tram transport links and there is also access to staff car parks.

Salary:

• £130 - £140 per day dependent on experience

Job Duties:

• Follow and deliver original teacher lesson plans
• Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe learning environment
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to all students in the absence of the regular teacher
• Liaise with teachers to provide feedback on students’ progress and other issues

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Previous teaching experience
• Experience working with KS3 and KS4 is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
