We are currently recruiting NQTs and experienced teachers to work in secondary schools in and around Newport and Torfaen to cover short to medium-term absences on short notice. If you're looking for your next teaching opportunity, this could be a fantastic way to explore different schools in the local area.

With our Guaranteed Work Scheme, you are guaranteed to be paid for up to 4 days per week!

To be considered for supply work through Teaching Personnel, you will:

• Be confident in covering general lessons across the secondary curriculum
• Be able to travel easily to schools across Newport, Torfaen, and Monmouthshire
• Always demonstrate professionalism while representing yourself and Teaching Personnel
• Be a passionate teacher who consistently displays 'outstanding' practice
• Be able to provide 2 professional references from the last 2 years, pass all right-to-work checks, have or be willing to apply for a Child Only DBS on the update service, and attend a short interview on Teams or in our office

In return, Teaching Personnel can offer you:

• Up to 4 days a week guaranteed through our GUARANTEED WORK SCHEME! (Depending on availability)
• A daily pay rate starting from M2 £157.66 per day
• The flexibility to manage your own schedule and experience working in different schools within your local area
• Your own personal consultant who will assist you in finding work that suits you

Due to an increase in demand, we are able to offer working opportunities starting immediately in September.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
