Sports Student/ Graduate – Flexible, Part-Time Role

Location: Primary & Secondary Schools near Treforest, Pontypridd
Contract: Flexible, Part-Time

Pay: £100-115 per day

Hours: 6.5hrs per day (Term time only)

Start: From March 3rd

Are you a sports graduate looking to complete your placement hours and gain hands-on experience working with children of all abilities? Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for passionate and motivated individuals to support schools with classroom support and gain valuable learning experience!

In-house training is provided to fully prepare you for managing a classroom, the expectations of working within a class and about policies and procedures within the wider school. Pair this with the free compulsory Level 2 safeguarding training and a fully enhanced DBS certificate delivered to you which you can use for future employment; registering with Teaching Personnel is an investment into your future!

About the Role:

  • Work in primary and secondary schools within an easy commute from Treforest, Pontypridd
  • Gain experience in managing and coaching children with varying needs and abilities
  • Support PE lessons, general curriculum lessons, extracurricular clubs, and small group sessions
  • Develop your skills in sports leadership, classroom management, and inclusive coaching
  • Flexible hours to fit around your studies

What We’re Looking For:

  • A sports-related degree (or working towards one)
  • Passion for working with children and helping them develop their confidence through sport
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Any previous coaching or leadership experience is beneficial but not essential
