Sports Graduates – Required Immediately

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a group of Secondary Schools assisting them in the recruitment of a Sports Graduate that will be able to provide support to the schools Physical Education department, assisting with the general operation of Physical Education lessons and assisting with general cover in lessons.

Sports Graduate Role;

  • Full-time/Part-Time/Flexible Sports Graduate positions starting in September 2024
  • Expected pay of £1400-£1600 a month (depending on hours worked) whilst gaining key skills that will contribute to a career in teaching in the future.
  • A cluster of ‘Good’ or 'Outstanding' graded Secondary school based in Wigan.

Our client school wish to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual that will have the confidence to lead classes and warm-up activities in the absence of the class teacher. The role will require the incoming member of staff to be extremely organised as they will have sole responsibility of the organisation all of the schools PE equipment, setting up of each lesson as specified by the class teacher and clearing and organising the equipment at the end of each lesson.

Coaching experience or working alongside young people who are aged 11-16 will be of extremely benefit in support of an application for this role as the successful candidate will be required to lead sports sessions, involving large groups of students and following a plan that the class teacher has set.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
