 Job Ad: PE Teacher/Cover – Cannock

Position: PE Teacher/Cover
Location: Cannock
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM to 3:00 PM
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Temporary full time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people)? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher/Cover to join our team at a mainstrean secondary school.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of SEND students.
  • Provide cover teaching support across other subjects as required.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that encourages students to achieve their potential.
  • Work closely with other staff members to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and confidence through physical education activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEND students is highly desirable.
  • A passion for physical education and a commitment to supporting student development.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic school environment.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications or experience in PE instruction (QTS is desirable but not essential).
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
