Currently, we are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Sports Coach who is interested in transitioning into Teaching Assistant (TA) role at a Primary School in Blackpool.
The Role:
Are you a Sports Coach with a passion for working with young people? Do you have the skills to inspire, motivate, and support students both in sports and in the classroom? We are looking for a Sports Coach who is keen to expand their career by taking on TA roles within a school. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your coaching experience to support students’ physical, social, and academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering engaging PE lessons and after-school sports activities.
- Support classroom teachers in managing student behavior and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, helping them with their academic and personal development.
- Use your sports coaching skills to encourage teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles among students.
- Help plan and organise school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Provide general classroom support, including preparing resources and assisting with administrative tasks.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience as a Sports Coach, ideally with children and young people.
- Be passionate about sports and education, with a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- Be adaptable, proactive, and ready to take on new challenges in a school environment.
- Hold relevant coaching qualifications and, ideally, a TA or equivalent qualification (though this is not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
