Teaching Personnel is seeking to recruit Speech and Language Graduates to provide 1:1 and group support in Salford, specifically in Primary Schools. We have had a high need for SLCN support and are looking for teaching assistants on a long term basis.

There has been an increase in new pupils enrolling in school within the Early Years department who are struggling with Speech, Language and Communication needs. With this is in mind we are seeking an experience SLCN SSA to support Reception pupils with their Speech and Language development.

Experience delivering 1:1/group support, working with Phonics schemes and Bilingual capabilities is highly sought after. Skills such as Makaton and PECS are desirable but not essential for this role. 

Our Manchester South Primary Branch currently work with schools across Salford, Manchester and Trafford, providing support staff to assist with booster classes and raising attainment of pupils across all key stages.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
