Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers Required in Surrey

Full-Time, Part-Time, and Ad-Hoc Availability for Day-to-Day, Long-Term Supply or Permanent Positions

We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers to join our team in Surrey. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc supply work, we have flexible opportunities available, including day-to-day, long-term supply roles, or even permanent positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of SEN, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor individual progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to provide the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Promote a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to regular reporting to senior staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of various SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and more.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
