Are you interested in gaining paid experience in the education sector and working with behavioural and addiional needs pupils?

Teaching Personnel is looking for specialist teaching assistants in Bath to work with students diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and mental health difficulties. This full-time role involves working with individual students to support their daily routines, engage them throughout the school day, and help them achieve their learning objectives. You will also assist with identifying pupils' triggers and employing de-escalation tactics when necessary.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Psychology or Criminology degree
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Good communication, and a passion for helping others.
  • Enhanced DBS check (We can assist in this process)
  • Good command of the english language - Written & Spoken
  • You will be asked to report regularly on pupils' behaviours and achievements and be open to training in Team Teach and Manual Handling.

 

This role is a great opportunity for recent graduates to apply what they've learned in their studies and contribute to the development of special needs pupils. The pay starts at £12.90 per hour and is negotiable based on experience and performance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
