Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Full-time Salary: £24,926 | Actual Salary: £19,232.24
Are you a self-motivated, caring, and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and nurturing specialist school in St Austell.
About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex behaviours. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that every child receives tailored support to meet their educational, emotional, and physical needs.
Your role will involve:

Providing 1:1 support and small group assistance to pupils with SEND.

Helping pupils engage in learning and develop essential life skills.

Supporting pupils with their emotional well-being and behaviour management.

Assisting with personal care and physical support, where necessary.

Working as part of a collaborative and dedicated team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
