Teaching Personnel’s PWR team is proud to be supporting a high-performing all-through school in Bexley in their search for a full-time, permanent SENCo. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on inclusive education and ensure every pupil receives the support they need to succeed.

Role Details:

Location: Bexley, London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 to £57,000 (MPS/UPS Outer London) + SEN Allowance + £1,500 Trust Allowance + Performance and Loyalty Bonus + Wellbeing Cash Plan + Pension Scheme (TPS) + Additional Trust Benefits

About the Role:

As SENCo, you will take a whole-school lead on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) provision, working across both primary and secondary phases. You’ll play a key role in shaping a fully inclusive learning environment, leading on EHCPs, staff training, intervention strategies, and liaising with external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of SEND provision across the school

  • Coordinate EHCPs, assessments, and support plans in collaboration with staff and families

  • Provide training and guidance to teaching and support staff

  • Develop and monitor intervention strategies to support pupil progress

  • Work closely with SLT to ensure an inclusive school culture

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards it)
✔ Substantial experience supporting pupils with SEN, ideally in both primary and secondary settings
✔ Strong knowledge of current SEND legislation and best practice
✔ Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
