Job description

SEN Tutor - Teesside

TP Tutors is looking for tutors/teachers with SEN experience who are looking for flexible and rewarding work.

This role involves:

-          Working with children with Special Education Needs such as ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH or PMLD

-          Providing face to face support in the child’s home or in a public space such as a town hall, library or community centre

-          Planning and delivering engaging sessions in core subject areas as well as functional skills and monitoring progress

-          Managing children with challenging behaviour

-          Building relationships and raising pupils’ confidence

-          Providing feedback and reports

We have some great pupils who require educational support outside of a mainstream setting at primary and secondary ages. Experience working with SEND children and a valid enhanced child workforce DBS is essential.

The work is flexible, can be up to 20 hours a week and fitted around your availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
