Job Duties:
- Provide specialised instruction to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
- Implement teaching strategies to support students with SEN in achieving academic goals.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and professionals to support students' learning and development.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with SEN.
- Understanding of SEN policies and procedures.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of different learning needs and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant educational technology and resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs.
- Additional training in specific learning disabilities.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in an educational setting in South East England. The environment may include classrooms, one-on-one tutoring sessions, and meetings with parents and professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
