SEN Teaching Assistants

Teaching Personnel are currently working with various schools across the Stoke area who are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to start in September. There has been an increase in the demand for specialist Teaching Assistants specifically those with experience with SEN and SEMH.

About the role:

• Start date: 1^st September
• Opportunity to earn £85- £110 (dependent on experience)

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support that enables each pupil to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. This will involve assisting with the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons, providing 1-1 or small group support, creating and implementing individualised learning plans.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with SEN or SEMH is essential for this role
• Good knowledge of SEN is required
• Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
