SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wigan and surrounding areas
Salary: £83.85 - £100 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent, Flexible

Teaching Personnel are working with several Secondary Schools who are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams and provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN. Your role will be crucial in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes confidence and academic achievement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and patience.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learners.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, equivalent SEN qualifications or relevant experience.
  • Experience working in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
