Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive team within an attached provision at thriving mainstream schools across Wigan.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to pupils, either in a group setting or on a 1:1 basis.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher and SENCO to adapt and deliver engaging lessons.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all pupils.

- Have experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a school setting.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Be flexible and proactive in adapting to the needs of the pupils.
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
