SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wandsworth, Greater London
Job Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £85 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants with experience in supporting learners with SEN to join our team in Croydon.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant with Teaching Personnel, you will have the rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 5 to 19, tailoring your approach to ensure each student has a positive and enriching learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1, 2:1, or small group support to students with special educational needs.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Work closely with class teachers and other professionals to address the diverse needs of students.

Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.

Support students in their educational and social development.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Education or a related field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.

Ability to adapt to different learning environments and work effectively within a team.

Right to work in the UK.

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
