We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Staff to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people aged 2-19 with visual, hearing, and sensory impairments.

About the Role:
As an SEN Support Staff member, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, ensuring they have access to a positive and enriching learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with visual, hearing, and sensory impairments.

• Assisting with personal care, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support.

• Encouraging independence, communication, and social interaction.

• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• A caring, patient, and empathetic individual who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.

• No prior experience is required – full training will be provided!

• Must be comfortable with personal care duties.

• A valid Child and Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

• A positive attitude, resilience, and a willingness to learn.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
