We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Staff to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people aged 2-19 with visual, hearing, and sensory impairments.
About the Role:
As an SEN Support Staff member, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, ensuring they have access to a positive and enriching learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with visual, hearing, and sensory impairments.

Assisting with personal care, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support.

Encouraging independence, communication, and social interaction.

Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive environment.
What We’re Looking For:

A caring, patient, and empathetic individual who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.

No prior experience is required – full training will be provided!

Must be comfortable with personal care duties.

A valid Child and Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

A positive attitude, resilience, and a willingness to learn.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
