SEN Teaching Assistant – Torquay

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school in Torquay on a full-time basis.
About the Role:

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Torquay

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
-
Contract: Temporary with the possibility of a permanent opportunity
You will be supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs on both a 1:1 basis and within small groups, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment with a strong focus on tailored, pupil-centred support.
Key Requirements:

Experience working in a school setting is essential
-
Previous SEN experience (preferred but not essential)
-
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
