We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our supportive team and help make a positive impact on the learning experiences of our pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

-          Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and interventions.

-          Help pupils access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.

-          Work with other staff members to create and implement individual learning plans.

-          Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting emotional and social development.

-          Assist in the monitoring of pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.

-          Support with personal care and mobility where necessary.

You will need to:

-          Have experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential).

-          Be patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with diverse needs.

-          Be a good communicator and able to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

-          Have a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.

-          Possess relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent).

-          Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
