SEN Teaching Assistant – Stretford (M32)

  • Location: Stretford, Manchester
  • Pay: £83.85+ per day (dependent on experience)
  • Contract Type: Temporary (with the possibility of a permanent school contract)
  • Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel are seeking an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with complex medical needs. A primary SEN provision in Stretford have contacted us seeking a TA who is dedicated to supporting pupils with SEN’s educational journey in a nurturing environment.

This primary SEN provision is committed to providing exceptional care and education to pupils with complex medical needs. They pride themselves on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment in which every child can thrive.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils with complex medical needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and administering medication to students as required.
  • Assisting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom.
  • Supporting students within small classes to achieve their learning goals.
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students feel supported and valued.

Requirements:

  • Experience in healthcare or support work, with a background in providing personal care and administering medication.
  • Previous experience working in a SEN environment is essential.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with complex medical needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
