Teaching Personnel are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnership SEN schools in South Manchester.

In this role you will:

Support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and creative activities.
Build relationships with students and staff.
Create a safe and fun learning environment for children.
Encourage expected behavior and act as a role model for children.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working with children with SEN.
A calm and patient manner.
The ability to be proactive and take initiative
Good listening and communication skills

As part of safer recruitment guidelines all applicants would be subject to standard vetting checks including the obtainment of:

two previous employment references
An enhanced Child DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
