Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-on-one and group support for students with complex needs, such as ASD, PMLD, sensory impairments, or other additional needs.
• Assist the class teacher in creating and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Build positive relationships with students to support their confidence, independence, and emotional well-being.
• Help students with personal, social, and emotional development.
• Provide assistance with personal care, mobility, feeding, or other individual requirements when necessary.
• Adapt learning strategies and resources to meet the unique needs of each student.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with complex needs (essential).
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN-related training) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
