Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Southwark, London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Salary: £85-103 per day
Are you a dynamic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in a vibrant primary school environment? Teaching Personnel are proudly working in partnership with a friendly and welcoming 2 form entry primary school in Southwark who are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and support pupils across EYFS - KS1
SEN Teaching Assistant Role Overview:
- Provide individual and small group support to students in EYFS - KS1
- Assist in the delivery of tailored speech and language programs and interventions.
- Work closely with speech and language therapists, teachers, and parents to track progress and adapt strategies.
- Support classroom activities and promote effective communication skills among students.
- Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of speech and language development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children
- Experience working collaboratively with therapists and educators
- Relevant qualifications in Speech and Language Support or a related field are preferred
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
