Teaching Personnel Sheffield are looking for a Support Worker to join our workforce to cover a teaching assistant role in one of our Specialist schools based in Sheffield (S8).
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-2-1 support to students with diverse needs (Autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and behavioural challenges)
- Support in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels values and supported
- Collaborate with the staffing team within school to ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential
Requirements:
- Moving and Handling Training
- Experience with personal care
- Experience working with children, young people or adults with special educational needs
- Compassionate and patient character
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work with challenging behaviour
- Driving licence is preferred but not required if you have adequate travel arrangements
Additional Information:
- £85-100/day - Dependent on experience and performance
- Permanent contracts available.
- Full-time and part-time roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
