About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support, ensuring they have access to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Supporting students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties.
✔️ Assisting the class teacher in delivering adapted lessons.
✔️ Providing one-on-one and small group interventions.
✔️ Encouraging student confidence, independence, and engagement.
✔️ Helping to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
✔️ Promoting a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements:
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred).
Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow individual support plans.
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies (training available).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
