We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position with an immediate start available, or the option to begin in September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the class teacher to support students with SEN in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Implement and adapt learning activities to meet the individual needs of students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support students in developing independence and life skills.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, to support student development.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to promoting the well-being and inclusion of all students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (preferred but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
