JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant

£100.00 - £150.00 Per day
Job Duties:
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons
- Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Relevant experience in a similar role within the education sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Additional training in supporting students with specific SEN requirements
Working Conditions:
- Working within a school environment
- Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
- Potential for some physical activities such as assisting students with mobility

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
