SEN Support Nelson (BB9)
- Full time Monday- Friday 08.30am- 3.30pm.
- Competitive rates, £12.90 - £14 per day
- Start date: 24th February 2025
- KS2
- This role is temporary with the view to make the right candidate permanent.
Our school is looking for an individual to integrate themselves into a classroom as SEN support. This role is to support in the classroom managing behaviour. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be positive, enthusiastic, work well with others and have a passion for pupils’ education.
For this role you will need experience providing support to children with SEN
Have experience working 1:1 and in small groups.
A level 2 minimum qualification in teaching and learning support.
The ideal candidate:
- Will have a minimum of 6 months of school experience.
- A level 2 minimum qualification in teaching and learning support
- Implement positive behaviour management.
- Work well with the classroom teacher.
- Will have experience supporting pupils with SEN.
- Confidently adjust approach to changes in behaviour with SEN pupils.
- Show a positive attitude.
- Be reliable.
- Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.
The school is easily accessible by both car and public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
